Once again, designate a time during the day or the evening you can be alone but this time for 15 minutes.

Return to your quiet place with your bible.

Read John 10:27-28 again.

I pray that the year 2020 is the year I see more clearly the path the Lord has for me and that others do too!

I literally feel God with me all the time. Especially being so isolated, I feel like it’s hard to miss. I feel like I talk to him more than ever and it is so comforting. To be reminded that we can not be snatched out of his hand...I mean, that’s the whole prize right there. Love it.

I have found that i can easily get distracted with other thoughts and "to do" items when i sit in quiet. One thing i have found VERY helpful is to have a journal or paper to write on (not my phone notes, b/c it can easily become another distraction!) but then i just write all of the distractions that come up as a quick note to come back to later. it allows my mind to "park" it without fear of forgetting about it later, but allows my mind not to have to dwell on it. allows me to release it and get back to focusing on listening for God.

and then writing in a journal what i hear or see allows me, personally, to process thoughts better.
